During the time of independence in 1947 the total population of the country was around 390 million. Upper caste Hindus were around 206 million; the Scheduled castes around 48 million; Muslims at 92 million. Hindus comprised 306 million (84.1%) and Muslims were 34 million (9.8%) in the 1951 census. Hindus comprise about 73 percent of the population of India before partition. Hindus comprise 82.75 crores (80.45%) and Muslims were 13.8 crores (13.4%) in the 2001 census. The census data, which was compiled in 2011, says India is home to 966.3 million Hindus, who make up 79.8% of the population. There are 172.2 million Muslims (14.2% of the population); 27.8 million Christians (2.3%) and 20.8 million Sikhs (1.7%). With around 201 million Muslims (2018 estimate), India's Muslim population is about the world's second-largest and the world's largest Muslim-minority population. India is home to 11% of the world's Muslim population...
We can clearly observe that the rate of the population of Muslims in a Hindu country is subsequently increasing over the years and the rate of the population of the Hindus is decreasing frequently. from 84.1% the population of Hindus directly fell into 78%. So what are the reasons due to which these matters occurred? the simple funda behind it is ‘hum do, humare pachhis’ – we 2, our 25 i.e. the high birth rates. Muslim growth benefits from the fertility factor because "globally, Muslims have the highest fertility rate, an average of 3.1 children per woman." there is a severe need for controlling the population of Muslims. Being a Hindu country as the name "HINDUSTAN" suggents there must be control of the population of Hindus in our country. As day by day, the number of Hindus is decreasing it's being said that the Muslim community will form the largest portion of our country by 2050 and India will be the largest country with such a large Muslim population. Now India is in the second position with regards to the Muslims population after Indonesia. According to me, there must be a limit up to which a Muslim woman can give birth, which will definitely help in controlling the Muslim population to a large extinct. After this, a law should be implemented for a limit to the demands of Muslims in our country. The data on Population by Religious Communities of Census 2011 show that between 2001 and 2011, the Hindu population grew by 16.76 percent, while that of Muslims by 24.6 percent.
"The Union Government on 22 December 2011 announced the establishment of a sub-quota of 4.5% for religious minorities within the existing 27% reservation for Other Backward Classes. The reasoning given was that Muslim communities that have been granted OBC status are unable to compete with Hindu OBC communities. "
The Tamil Nadu government has allotted 3.5% of seats each to Muslims and Christians. The Government of Andhra Pradesh introduced a law enabling 4 percent reservations for Muslims in 2004. This law was upheld by the Supreme Court in an interim order in 2010 but it constituted a Constitution bench to look further into the issue. Kerala Public Service Commission has a quota of 12% for Muslims. Religious minority (Muslim or Christian) educational institutes also have a 50% reservation for Muslim or Christian religions. The Central government has listed a number of Muslim communities as backward Muslims, making them eligible for reservation.
The Voice over the reservation in our country still continues. according to me the reservation system of our country must be abolished so that each and every student get a taste of success on the basis of his or her own potential. The above picture shows that a large number of students have got selected due to the support of the reservation system of our country. Employment is given to a large number of students but no one earns with his or her potential or mindset.
Very Good Analysis. Keep it up.
